About The Position

Master Data & Chart of Accounts Governance This person will serve as the primary steward for the Chart of Accounts (COA) and master data. This involves managing the "source of truth" for financial data, overseeing change management across systems, and ensuring data remains clean and consistent during organizational shifts like mergers or acquisitions. 2. System Implementation & Integration A significant portion of this role is system driven and project-based. This person will be responsible for: - Assisting in the rollout of a new master data governance approval process. - Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for integrations between EDMCS and downstream applications. - Ensuring financial systems talk to each other correctly during system enhancements. 3. Cross-Functional Process Optimization This person will act as a bridge between accounting and other departments to automate and optimize the change management process. The role requires a "consultative" approach—identifying inefficiencies in how data flows through the company and implementing scalable improvements to fix them.

Requirements

  • Experience in system implementation or upgrades
  • Individual should work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate key information and status to stakeholders
  • Oracle R12 and Hyperion Financial Management
  • Possess excellent analytical skills (MS Excel)
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
  • Minimum of 2 years working in accounting/consolidations, master data governance or as an international accountant
  • Strong accounting background, used to day to day accounting operations, hybrid between systems and core accounting basics
  • Projects with EDMCS system and month end close activities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud products (EDMCS, FCCS)
  • Big 4 experience, consulting or audit experience with multinational engagements
  • CPA certification (or working towards it)
