About The Position

Were looking for a Delivery Manager / Data Governance Lead to drive the successful delivery of enterprise data governance initiatives while defining and enforcing governance frameworks across the organization. This role blends project delivery leadership with hands-on data governance expertise , making it ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration. We are seeking a person with 5+ years of experience managing enterprise data projects, with a strong track record of successful delivery. Youll work closely with IT, compliance, vendors, and business teams to ensure data is well-governed, high-quality, secure, and aligned with regulatory and business requirements. Preference is for this to be a hybrid role in Pittsburgh, but we are open to fully remote candidates in Eastern or Central time zones. Requirements

Bachelors degree in a related field (Masters preferred) with 5+ years delivering enterprise data or governance initiatives
Proven experience defining and enforcing data governance frameworks, policies, and compliance standards
Strong project management skills, including Agile or hybrid delivery approaches
Solid understanding of data quality, lineage, stewardship, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to coordinate across IT, compliance, vendors, and business teams
Experience with modern data governance tools (e.g., Databricks Unity Catalog, Snowflake ) and data cataloging concepts

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of data governance initiatives, managing project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies
Define, implement, and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
Oversee data ownership, stewardship, lineage, and cataloging processes
Implement data quality controls and compliance checks to ensure regulatory adherence
Coordinate with IT, compliance, vendors, and business units to align governance practices
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to define governance requirements and best practices
Conduct data assessments and audits to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement
Manage escalations related to data governance and ensure timely resolution
Support implementation of data governance tools and technologies
