About The Position

The Accountant AP will support daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and monthly close tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the finance team.

Good computer skills – strong Excel background
Good written and verbal communication skills- for working as a team internally and interfacing with our customers’ payables departments
Energetic self-starter
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
3+ years’ experience in a similar role

Nice To Haves

Associates or higher degree in accounting or business is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of bookkeeping functions for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Assist with monthly closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Manage Commission and General Ledger entries
Perform Time and Attendance recordkeeping
Support the preparation of financial reports as needed
Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
Help monitor budget variances and flag discrepancies
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Other administrative functions as assigned.
