About The Position

This position, within the Administration Section under the Accounting Unit is tasked with assisting in the preparation of an Operation and Maintenance budget; Capital Replacement Budget; Renewal and Replacement Budget for vehicles and equipment; monitoring expenditures and providing details for responses on inquiries from the Department's Financial Division.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and one year of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree to include 9 semester credits in Accounting and one year of accounting experience
• One year of satisfactory performance as an Accountant 1 in the County service is required
• Five years of Accounting experience may substitute for the required four year of college education

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of an Operation and Maintenance budget
• Assisting in the preparation of a Capital Replacement Budget
• Assisting in the preparation of a Renewal and Replacement Budget for vehicles and equipment
• Monitoring expenditures
