About The Position

Responsible a detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial operations of our fast-paced sandwich manufacturing facility serving Circle K Commissary and Alaska Bakery. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cost accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and food manufacturing standards. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with production and operations teams.

Requirements

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma required, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, food manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.
Equivalent work experience may substitute for education.

Working knowledge of ERP systems desired.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with cost accounting, including tracking raw materials, labor, and production costs
Monitor inventory valuation and conduct inventory reconciliations
Partner with operations to analyze production variances, waste, and efficiencies
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and internal controls
Assist with audits, including financial and inventory audits
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and cost control
Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements
Updating vendor information and other accounting activities that come up
