About The Position

Supervisors must be able to effectively manage AEs, AMs and potentially Sr. AMs and sAccount Supervisors are responsible for leading the development of social-first creative and strategies and client management on more complex, strategic accounts for their team as well as overseeing account teams consisting of AEs, AMs, and potentially Sr. AMs. They serve as the primary POC for their assigned clients by answering client emails, leading weekly calls, and developing and implementing both short and long-term strategies. Account Supervisors are also primarily responsible for maintaining client relationships through QBR development (when relevant), and recurring check-ins with client contacts. Account Supervisors are responsible for truly exemplifying DEPT’s core values and fostering a positive work environment – where they are driving motivation and excitement across teams. They are responsible for the career development of their team members whether they are direct or indirect reports. This includes overseeing training, implementing additional practice exercises as needed, and ensuring goals are being hit. Account Supervisors are expected to have direct reports and have a track record of career development for their junior team members. Account Supervisors are expected to have an understanding of their individual team members’ hours and how client resourcing should potentially be adjusted if there is an inefficiency. They are expected to consistently look for ways to creatively open up their team’s senior bandwidth for growth opportunities. Account Supervisors have strategic ownership of their accounts and require little strategic guidance from their manager or above to drive a social-first project forward. While the Sr. Account Managers focus on output, the Account Supervisors manage and activate. Candidates must have experience managing teams and complex workstreams for brands. Candidates expected to have 6+ years of account management experience.
