About The Position

The Account Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Corporate Work-Study Program (CWSP) by managing relationships with business partners and ensuring student success in workplace placements. This position serves as the primary liaison between the school, corporate partners, students, and families, delivering high-quality service and fostering long-term partnerships. Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.
  • Highly self-disciplined and detail oriented.
  • Strengths-based and positive approach to working with students and adults; ability to be a consistent, positive role model and support for students.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional work experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service, education, or youth development preferred.
  • Teaching/facilitating and curriculum development experience strongly desired.
  • Experience supporting partnership work in nonprofit or education environments.
  • Business background in customer/client service is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate partners and student work placements.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure partner satisfaction.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner.
  • Track account performance and maintain accurate records (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Support student onboarding, training, and daily work readiness routines.
  • Monitor student performance and provide coaching and intervention as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and workplace supervisors.
  • Assist with program development, training initiatives, and events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support student and program success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
