About The Position

As an Account Specialist for Cirkul, you will be responsible to drive growth with new and existing retail partners, allowing the company to achieve its financial goals while presenting the brand in the best way to consumers. The role involves driving strategy and execution to grow and maximize existing accounts, prioritizing and winning future accounts, and leading efficient customer onboarding processes. You will build creative strategies to engage new retail partners to exceed sales and profit goals, propose recommendations to the Cirkul senior management team, and cultivate strong relationships with retail partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 0-3 years' experience in sales as an account manager.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing new and existing retail accounts.
  • Experience working with retailers in grocery, club, drug, sporting goods, and other priority channels.
  • Experience with trade spend management, retailer systems, and new vendor set up.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many cross functional departments.
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytical, responsive, and able to solve problems in a level-headed manner.
  • Customer first attitude to handle all requests in a timely manner.
  • Deep understanding of key trends in retail and the beverage/consumer products industry.
  • Can do attitude with no reservations doing what it takes to get the job done.
  • History of managing multiple accounts in different classes of trade simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and execution to grow and maximize existing accounts.
  • Prioritize and win future accounts, leading efficient customer onboarding processes.
  • Build creative strategies to engage new retail partners to exceed sales and profit goals.
  • Propose recommendations to Cirkul senior management team for alignment.
  • Present to retailers to gain their buy-in and quickly action ideas.
  • Work closely with Cirkul Retail Ops team to ensure timely and full shipments.
  • Find methods to make retail order/fulfillment/invoicing processes more efficient.
  • Champion retail customers internally and support DTC growth.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with all retail partners.
