Requirements
- High School or GED
- Medical Billing Certificate preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the medical billing field preferred.
- Medical Terminology
- Working experience with ICDA, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Knowledge of insurance industry; HMO, FFS, WC, PPO
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the input of professional charges, updating and maintaining.
- Accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
- Performing audits of data to ensure accuracy of charges and claims being billed.
