About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls Receive, sort and distribute mail Assist all walk-in clients with payments and billing questions Coordinates all on-demand and renewal cert issuance Completes change request ordering from carrier Processes audits that are not premium bearing or do not have a large increase (send other audits to AM/Producer) Sends all policies to be checked by third party vendor Checks endorsements from carrier for accuracy Processes cancellations (DB non pay, LPR’s received from AM, and sending non renewals to AM/Producer) Handles escalating premium bearing change requests and audits to AM Completes MVR requests for underwriting only Orders loss runs when requested Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.

Requirements

  • Applied Epic experience preferred.
  • Active Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of insurance experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products.
  • Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance in order to meet deadlines.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to articulate key information.
  • Initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • High emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, data analysis, and process innovation.
  • Self-starter and work with direction and taking ownership of areas of responsibility.
  • Detail-oriented.
