Overview: The purpose of this position is to provide an opportunity to learn about Kentucky Eagle’s portfolio, customers’, sales and delivery processes to be prepared for a transition to a sales role.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of B2B customer service experience.
  • Route based account management or merchandising experience preferred.
  • Strong desire to start a career in Sales.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License in good standing with a driving record acceptable to Kentucky Eagle’s insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Solicitors License with the Kentucky Dept. of Alcohol and Beverage Control
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, bend, twist and repetitively lift 35lbs.

  • Route based account management or merchandising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about our suppliers and their brands.
  • Learn how to utilize data analytics to be a resource for our customers and identify selling opportunities.
  • Learn and use the Montreux sales process.
  • Understand the on-line portal.
  • Travel in local market with Sales Representatives and Sales Management.
  • Learn how to competitively present and position our brands in the market.
  • Merchandise and place point of sale material when not covering open routes.
  • Provide sales support by covering routes due to vacations or other absences.
  • Identify selling opportunities during account visits.
  • Record and monitor inventory at accounts.
  • Review sales performance with management compared to sales targets.
