About The Position

The Account Representative works collaboratively with external customers and internal departments to assist in ensuring the successful alignment of operations and customer requirements. This position works with the Account Manager to support the day-to-day requirements of customer’s needs including, but not limited to component receipts, quality releases, planning and scheduling, production, and finished good shipments.

Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite – strong Excel experience is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of internal manufacturing capabilities and operational requirements to align with customer inquiries.
  • Basic understanding of Supply Chain, MRP, and Demand Planning.
  • Associate’s Degree
  • Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, electrical, chemicals, and vibrations.
  • Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, stoop repeatedly.
  • Physically able to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, electrical, chemicals, and vibrations.
  • Frequent use of computer screen and use of headphones.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Personal Care/Cosmetic industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Account Manager and Internal Departments in the day-to-day execution required to meet customer demands and KPIs.
  • Support aspects of managing key client accounts such as daily production reporting, scheduling customer meetings, sending meeting recaps, and monitoring follow ups.
  • Analyze, acknowledge, and enter sales demand and orders into the ERP system and communicate new entries and timelines to key stakeholders.
  • Work with Quality team to ensure timely release of finished goods as it relates to finished good shipments for customer orders.
  • Assist Account Manager in analyzing customers’ brand portfolios and identifying new product opportunities.
  • Assist Account Manager in creating presentations and providing insight into the state of customers including finance, innovation, and strategy.
  • Remain in compliance with SOPs related to Sales that include Training, Customer Complaints, Product Recalls, NOEs, CAPAs, etc.
  • Understand basic SOPs, as well as internal manufacturing capabilities and operational requirements, to align with customer inquiries.
  • Additional duties and/or special projects as required by Associate Director of Outside Sales.
