About The Position

To enroll, bill and administer Special Care Insurance Policies (SCIP) and provide marketing, telephone, and data entry support. Essential Job Functions: Coordinates resident accounts and billing schedules with proper set up procedures Account research and terminations Assist with premium processing, telephone, and customer service as needed Consistently delivers excellent customer service to facilities, patients/family, providers, and marketers Assist customers with all areas of service including: Collection issues Customer refunds Account adjustments Small balance write-off Customer reconciliations Other adjustments Update records based on various reports/mail including: Offset tracker Deceased reports Faxes Mail Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reports of suspected violations of law and Company policy Maintains confidentiality of all information; always abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines Reacts positively to change and performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years administrative experience
  • Advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Genelco Group Plus
  • Strong date entry skills and phone/email etiquette
  • Must have excellent organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exhibits strong customer service and follow up skills
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
