About The Position

Under direct supervision of the Business Office Supervisor. Responsible for reviewing account receivables in various Epic work lists, resolving system edits that are preventing claims from billing and reviewing outstanding balances due from multiple third-party payers. Has a thorough understanding of accepted billing and payment practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism during interactions with staff and third party payers.
  • Ability to resolve issues as they occur while efficiently managing high work volume in a fast paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication/organizational skills required

  • A minimum of one year experience in a physician based medical billing office.
