About the role: As a Key Account Planner you will lead the demand planning function of our Account Planning & Analytics team for our strategic partners and will be a key stakeholder working cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Sales Operations and our key accounts. The right candidate has a passion for product and a love for analytics. You can influence through data and are comfortable interacting directly with key accounts. Through a thorough understanding of supply chain dynamics, you will work to optimize our inventory levels for our key accounts, ensuring we are maximizing sales and profitability.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of merchandise planning or demand planning experience
  • Strong understanding of retail math
  • Expertise in complex Excel formulas using pivots, lookups, and macros
  • Comfortable presenting data and using dashboards for storytelling
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing environment
  • Ability to drive projects and manage project teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in licensed apparel preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Key Account financial plans to the Category level by month based on both current trends and historical performance.
  • Consistently trend and forecast sales and inventory with high degree of accuracy.
  • Partner with Sales and Key Accounts to ensure OTB discipline and react timely to business needs
  • Provides guidance, bottoms-up reporting, and various ad-hoc analyses focused on maximizing opportunities and minimizing risk to support business strategies.
  • Lead efforts in account-level SKU Assessments to recommend go forward assortments
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal business leads, customers and suppliers.
  • Periodically travel to store locations to review product mix, obtain feedback, and analyze market competition and trends
  • Attend customer meetings with team as needed.
  • Coach, develop and inspire
