About The Position

Coordinate production-related services to meet customer requirements and needs.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing, operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience.
  • Overall knowledge of general administrative/manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job-specific processes to successfully execute and complete the more progressive/complex duties of the job.
  • In-depth knowledge of the publication printing process and workflow, which includes and is not limited to machine capabilities, measurements, calculations, paper weights, press, bind, and mail requirements.
  • Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and the impact work has on the department or company.
  • Proficient knowledge of technology, including computers and software programs such as Technique, MS Office, spreadsheets, or other programs specific to the job to complete duties successfully.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple functions or areas of the business in which there is frequent contact while completing daily work assignments of the job.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain job instructions, departmental policy, methods, and/or procedures when completing assignments.
  • High attention to detail, troubleshooting, multi-tasking, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently provide clear job instructions, coordinate phases of work with others, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Must be able to read and understand written instructions and perform basic math.
  • Must be able to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all inputs, including but not limited to print order, mail file, supplied inserts, outsource needs, and verify completions.
  • Generate the EPS/Technique job plan for each job based on information received from clients. Understanding of shipping & logistics and familiarity with Process Shipper.
  • Daily communication with clients via phone, email and/or teams video conference.
  • Frequent communication with Account Specialists, Sales, and Outside vendors.
  • Ensure job instructions are accurate and notated clearly to the manufacturing areas.
  • Monitor all open jobs and confirm they are meeting quality standards and scheduled deadlines.
  • Follow detailed guidelines to ensure all data is received and the manufacturing process is completed appropriately, timely and economically.
  • Prepare billing summaries when jobs are completed.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
  • Ability to navigate/service high-end accounts and resolve complex customer problems.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to other Account Planners within the team.
