About The Position

Legacy Risk Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Commercial Lines Account Manager and Team Lead. We are a full-service independent insurance agency seeking an experienced customer service professional to support our Insurance Producers in the sales, marketing, and service of Commercial Lines accounts. In this role, the Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for servicing Middle Market clients by managing new business installations, renewals, and ongoing service needs. The position requires a strong understanding of the various coverage components and risk management needs of each account, as well as familiarity with carrier rating platforms and underwriting guidelines. This individual will work closely with Producers to assist in the marketing and placement of both new and renewal business while ensuring prompt, accurate, and efficient customer service. In addition to client service responsibilities, the Account Manager will serve as a Team Lead overseeing a small group of employees, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and adherence to agency standards.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • Active Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • Minimum 4 years of insurance experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel.
  • Must have Agency Management System Experience. AMS360, EPIC and ImageRight experience preferred.
  • Previous management or team lead experience required.
  • Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance in order to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to articulate key information.
  • Initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • High emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, data analysis, and process innovation.
  • Self-starter and work with direction and taking ownership of areas of responsibility.
  • Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts renewal processes & meetings with producers
  • Places client calls & provides correspondence
  • Oversees billing for all AB policies & collection along with producer
  • Manages policy binding on renewals (unless sent to centralized marketing department)
  • Prepares submissions for marketing
  • Provides correspondence with carriers and customers for premium bearing change requests/endorsements
  • Addresses and receive non renewals with producers/clients
  • Organizes master certificates and attaches all applicable endorsements (ASM handles all on-demand and renewal cert issuance)
  • Collects LPR’s from clients
  • Premium bearing audits and large audit increase correspondence with insured/producer
  • Manages documentation and file labeling upkeep
  • Reviews returned policy checklists for changes & send changes to ASM
  • The Commercial Lines Account Manager performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
