About The Position

Air Operations provides technology to both Airports and Airlines that help them manage and optimize their passenger processing and operational environment through solutions that improve Flight Operations, Airport Operations, E2E Passenger Processing and E2E Baggage Services. The Account Manager responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, the AM will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Presales, CSM, Customer Service/Support and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. The successful Account Manager should collaborate with the sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services over the long term.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience in account management
  • 2-3 years related experience in the airport or airline industry
  • Knowledge of Software technology and cloud computing
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft projects, ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Good organizational skills and ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with staff and customers
  • Ability to travel 50%

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the airport or airline industry

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters and develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Assist in the development of proposals, quotations for new products and services
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements
  • Forecast and track key accounts metrics ie. sales forecasts, account status, etc.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions based on customer requirements and needs
  • May perform other duties as requested or assigned
