Account Manager for Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (Charlotte, NC) RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our organization. Build relationships and understand customer business to provide appropriate products or solutions. Define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. Identify opportunities and build credibility with customers and utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers. Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our PPE safety product line including respiratory, fall protection, eye, face, head, hearing, hand, first aid and eyewash products. Manage existing book of business to meet or exceed assigned sales quota. Build relationships and understand customer business to provide appropriate products and solutions. Identify opportunities and build credibility with clients. Negotiate and close. Articulate and deliver value proposition. Develop and maximize presence and market share in designated accounts and territory. Drive continuous improvement. YOU MUST HAVE: Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in account management. Full term of experience must include: experience developing and implementing strategic Territory Management Plans and individual Account/ Opportunity Plans; active and proficient use of CRM System (SFDC) to show pipeline growth and accuracy in forecasting information; proficiency in applying a consultative selling framework to improve customer conversion rate; experience acting as a “quarterback” to enhance the company-to-customer rapport through facilitating deep and wide personal/professional relationships throughout the customer sales cycle and cross-functionally within both organizations; experience leading customer through their technological journey by understanding customer requirements and developing the appropriate company support team to address customer needs. Up to 90% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted.
