Apply now!   Learn more: jti.com    Please apply until 6th February   Local applicants only   Account Manager (Greater Raleigh Area)   Purpose of the role:   The  Account Manager is responsible for supporting the development and expansion of  JTI LIGGETT distribution and presence within new and existing National Key Accounts. This role collaborates with National Account Managers, and across Sales and Marketing to support joint business planning as well as execution with chain category managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of outside sales experience, preferably in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
  • Powerpoint and Excel proficiency
  • Proven success in sales with chain category managers and high-level corporate contacts
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated leadership and team collaboration at all levels
  • Strong consultative selling and fact-based negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support National Account Chain Objectives relating to execution of agreed upon strategies including Plan O Grams, Discounting/Pricing Strategies, Promotional/Loyalty Plans, and Payment Processes
  • Manage, identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts
  • Meet targeted sales growth and profit margins in line with the strategic business plan
  • Develop, build and maintain strong relationships at all levels within chain accounts
  • Regularly conduct chain sales calls and deliver impactful sales presentations
  • Provide market intelligence, including trends, competitive analysis, and external relations updates
  • Assist with additional projects as assigned by the Key Account Lead Manager.
