The Account Manager is responsible for achieving superior customer satisfaction and coordinating the successful execution of all jobs within each assigned account. This involves understanding customer nuances to effectively represent them internally, communicating with various departments, and resolving customer concerns. Key tasks include entering orders with complete job specifications, processing mailing and shipping instructions, routing proofs, and accurately interpreting customer instructions to ensure high-quality product and service delivery. The role also requires collaboration with the sales force to maintain customer relationships, prepare for and attend customer visits, identify new opportunities, request estimates, quote prices, and maintain detailed customer records. The Account Manager is expected to continuously develop knowledge of products and services, proactively guide customers through the production workflow, and provide backup assistance as needed.
