About The Position

The Account Manager serves as the primary relationship owner for key client accounts within an assigned Florida market. This role is responsible for retaining, servicing, and strategically growing existing business , while ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience. Working closely with the Business Development Manager, the Account Manager ensures continuity from client acquisition through long-term relationship management. This position is ideal for a professional who excels at consultative relationship building and proactive service—not transactional sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer service
  • Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships in a consultative environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and customer focus

Responsibilities

  • Account Retention & Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts
  • Build trust-based, long-term client relationships through consistent communication and responsiveness
  • Client Service & Coordination Partner with operations, dispatch, and support teams to ensure service expectations are clearly defined and consistently met
  • Act as the client advocate internally to resolve issues and improve service delivery
  • Account Growth & Strategy Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling within existing clients
  • Develop annual account plans in collaboration with Business Development leadership
  • Support contract renewals, extensions, and proposals
  • Performance & Data Analysis Monitor account performance using CRM and sales analytics tools
  • Track activity, forecast revenue, and proactively identify at-risk accounts
  • Collaboration & Representation Work closely with Inside Sales and Business Development teams
  • Represent Martz Bus in client meetings, events, and market functions
  • Share client insights, trends, and competitive intelligence with leadership
  • Availability & Coverage Remain accessible during weekends or after-hours as needed to support key accounts and ensure service continuity
