About The Position

Allied Universal® is hiring an Account Manager. The Account Manager is the driving force behind the Corporate Security function and daily security operations for a high-profile customer, helping to ensure the safety and well-being of the people and places we serve. The Account Manager will lead from the front - guiding, developing, and motivating a team of security officers and supervisors to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Must possess one of the following: Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Project Management, Business, or related field of study; High school diploma or equivalent with four (4) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle while conducting business
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships
  • Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination
  • Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts in an efficient manner
  • Demonstrated self-starter with ability to prioritize work with minimal direction
  • Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate and interface effectively with clients and employees across all levels of the organization while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence
  • Financial acumen; able to manage staffing levels while minimizing non-billed overtime and managing turnover costs; planning and organizing skills to control costs related to inventory (uniforms, equipment, etc.)
  • Ability to create and lead a dynamic team excelling in security response and customer service
  • Minimum 3 year or more of Security experience required
  • Supervisory or Management experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field
  • Law enforcement, military and/or corporate/contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience
  • American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
  • Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience
  • Aptitude with security systems; CCTV, access control, and badge administration
  • Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and expert-level support to key stakeholders in the development of security programs and solutions for emergency response in compliance with regulatory requirements and support the management of existing security-related policies, programs and procedures
  • Act as a leader in guiding and coordinating security responses to site emergencies
  • Complete regular risk assessments to ensure current state security program meets defined standards
  • Evaluate and monitor site security programs and identify gaps and create recommendations for corrective actions
  • Facilitate and manage a structure that promotes the effective utilization of the Uniform Emergency Response Manual and Post Orders
  • Provide technical security support and consultation to all site stakeholders including, but not limited to, incident investigation and the application of security policy, process and procedures
  • Hire, coach and manage security officers and supervisors while overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations
  • Leverage AI-powered technology to effectively schedule security officers, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime
  • Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards as well as managing inventory (uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies)
