About The Position

As an Account Manager at Medely, you’ll be responsible for the success, retention, and expansion of our healthcare facility customers. You’ll act as a trusted partner to your accounts, proactively guiding customer strategy, running recurring business reviews, identifying upsell opportunities, and driving renewals. This role requires versatility: one moment you may be advising a clinical operations leader, the next you may be collaborating cross-functionally with Medely’s Sales, Product, or Clinical Ops teams. Your ability to build relationships, solve problems, and translate customer needs into growth opportunities will make you a key driver of Medely’s mission to transform healthcare staffing. This position may require occasional travel, both local and overnight, to meet with clients and with members of the medical community, to establish relationships with clients and to promote Medely Inc. Compensation: $98,000 - $108,000 OTE (base + commission at plan).

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of account management experience in SaaS or technology, with at least 1 year in a high-growth startup; healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of driving adoption, renewals, and expansion within a customer base.
  • Skilled at managing escalations and negotiating positive outcomes for both customers and the business.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical, organized, and highly collaborative - thrive in cross-functional environments.
  • Tech-savvy; familiarity with Salesforce and Google Workspace a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ramp on Medely’s platform, customer journey, and account management processes.
  • Shadow account reviews, renewal conversations, and customer calls.
  • Begin 1:1s with your manager to align on your 30-60-90 plan and customer portfolio.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders in Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Fully own a portfolio of Medely customers, including post-launch adoption and retention.
  • Run recurring business reviews with customers to measure success and identify gaps.
  • Build a cadence of proactive customer touchpoints to drive engagement.
  • Identify and nurture upsell opportunities within your book of business.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product to resolve customer needs and escalate issues effectively.
  • Consistently achieve customer retention and renewal targets.
  • Expand existing accounts through consultative upselling.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor to your customer base, helping them achieve operational and staffing goals.
  • Develop a feedback loop with Product and Clinical Ops teams to share customer insights.
  • Be a top-performing Account Manager, exceeding adoption, retention, and expansion goals.
  • Build deep, trusted partnerships with key customer executives and decision-makers.
  • Play a leadership role in improving Medely’s account management playbook and mentoring new team members.
