About The Position

Air Relief is seeking an Account Manager to aggressively grow their established business. In this role, you will be selling products and services primarily into the following markets: chemical, petrochemical, refining, power generation, pharmaceutical, general manufacturing, and food. As an Account Manager, you will strive to grow your territory to its full potential by visiting new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain the benefits of our specific offerings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience selling technical products (or experience as a Service Technician)
  • Basic understanding of centrifugal compressor operation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude or an Engineering degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to work in an industrial environment with moderate PPE requirements on a daily basis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Quoting prices and reviewing specifications
  • Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and working closely with our Customer Service team in submitting orders for processing
  • Identifying customer needs and problems through proactive mapping of applications
  • Presenting creative solutions to customers that provide improved performance and cost savings
  • Daily travel within the territory with some overnight travel depending on the candidates' location
