About The Position

Right Way Elevator Maintenance (Right Way) is part of American Elevator Group (AEG), the largest independent elevator service company in North America, consisting of a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating throughout the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager to work in the Tampa, FL metro area to help us continue providing our customers with the best services possible. This role is responsible for communicating the benefits of the company's services to increase sales. In this role you will be the point of contact for prospects and/or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating current and future customers on products through calls, trainings, and presentations, while providing existing customers with exceptional support, information, and assistance. This position incorporates both inside and outside duties including visiting customer sites and taking orders via phone and email.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • 2+ years of work experience in construction or industrial equipment service sales (elevator service highly preferred). Previous commercial and/or residential elevator installation or servicing experience a strong plus.
  • Possess a positive can-do attitude with strong interpersonal/communication/presentations skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships at all levels.
  • Willingness to prospect and identify new business opportunities. This might entail cold-calling and prospecting for new clients.
  • Highly organized person who can monitor numerous projects at once and who can prioritize opportunities and has the analytical ability and business acumen to focus on profitable wins.
  • Ability to understand the clients business, identify solutions & communicate value by proposing and persuading to buy and assist with project management.
  • Capacity to become knowledgeable on safety issues and code requirements to better position the company to upsell

Nice To Haves

  • Previous commercial and/or residential elevator installation or servicing experience a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provides sales planning & sales funnel management to the management team, identifying potential new clients and/or upselling existing clients.
  • Creation/execution of successful go-to-market strategy to ensure a growing service customer base.
  • Prospecting for new customers, including cold calling and identifying competitive accounts that can be converted to service.
  • Selling quoted repairs/upgrades to existing and prospective maintenance customers.
  • Work closely with sales and admin teams on requests for new business.
  • Selling value and differentiating products and services on all new contracts.
  • Educating customers on safety issues, code requirements or potential upgrades.
  • Record account/customer activity in CRM/ERP/Accounting software.
  • Support Environmental Control Board compliance with tracking and submittal of paperwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
