About The Position

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our team located in Santa Clara, CA. SUMMARY: The Account Manager will focus on customer advocacy, being the voice of the customer into the organization as well as the voice of Amphenol out to the customer, taking care of critical customer needs, interfacing and building relationships with external customers and providing customer support to Product Managers, Project management, and other internal functions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written English skills and possess a team player attitude with the desire and capacity to learn. Due to the nature of this position, an outgoing and detail-oriented person who is able to work under pressure would be best suited. Performance will be measured based on established annual objectives, and as applicable, feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will be skilled at working with a high level of detail and will be able to manage multiple tasks for customers in a time sensitive environment.
  • Organizational skills and summarizing conclusions via data analysis is an important part of the position.
  • To do so requires a good, working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • BS Degree in Marketing, Business, or related area
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, Planning or Finance
  • Advanced PC Skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Working ability with V-lookups, Pivot Tables, and other more advanced excel skills
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience working in an electronic components manufacturing environment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Knowing your customers and their projects/products, understanding customers' critical demand and business environment
  • Supporting customer activities, resolving delivery, quality, inventory, and demand issues in an international and time sensitive environment
  • Handling requests from different stakeholders (sales, customers, ODM/CMs, and production team from multiple sites globally) with a data driven and analytical approach
  • Securing trustful monthly forecast for key accounts and providing forecast analysis to ensure data integrity.
