About The Position

As an Account Manager, you will lead and develop medical affairs accounts, serving as a trusted client partner and ensuring high-quality delivery across medical communications programs. You will manage day-to-day account activity, oversee budgets and timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive client satisfaction, operational excellence, and account growth.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of healthcare or medical communications agency experience
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and medical affairs
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Confident managing budgets and project finances
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and proactive with strong communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Lead client relationships and act as the primary day-to-day contact
  • Manage medical communications projects from briefing through delivery
  • Collaborate with Scientific, Editorial, Creative, and Project Management teams
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial performance across accounts
  • Ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed scope
  • Identify opportunities for organic account growth and support new business efforts
  • Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and operational efficiency
