About The Position

Join our Sales Team as an Account Manager and grow with us! This role will require the ability to build strong and lasting relationships, and the resiliency press forward through a challenging and rewarding industry. The Account Manager will need general sales or account management experience with the ability to grow and truly understand their customers’ business, anticipate needs, manage expectations, and solve problems. POSITION SPECIFICS Compensation Information: $65,000- $75,000 plus bonus incentive Schedule/Shift Information: Typically, Monday – Friday, onsite role. Ability to travel to customers as needed. 1-5% annual travel. Some weekends on occasion Benefits: Include PTO, Medical, Dental, STD and Life Insurance as well as 401k.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in sales or account management
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to work with others internally in the organization at all levels in a professional manner
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
  • Advanced time management skills
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner regarding our products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 1+ years of experience with ERP or CRM.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with Produce Pro
  • Bilingual is awesome!

Responsibilities

  • Daily active & direct communication with customers via phone and email.
  • Work internally with procurement, logistics, operations & other sales team members throughout each day to help plan for customer needs & solve immediate challenges
  • Manage inbound & outbound schedules for inventory
  • Examine trends & make adjustments to processes to help customers succeed
  • Present new programs & promotions to customers frequently and listen for unique ways to help our customers
  • Be a “hands on” customer advocate within the organization
  • Quick and accurate reporting to customers and within the organization through our online tools – email, TEAMS, & ERP.
  • Manage consistent pricing schedules that are accurate & timely
