About The Position

As an Account Manager for Owners, Developers, General Contractors (OGC), you will build relationships and reinforce our value proposition to executives in our client base of commercial real estate developers, investors, and general contractors. The ideal addition to the team is a customer-oriented professional who can hit the ground running, is capable of working independently, and is excited by the thought of fundamentally transforming the business of construction. Develop and execute an account support and growth strategy within assigned accounts Understand the client’s business through excellent discovery and interactions Reinforce the Built value proposition in a clear and compelling manner to C-suite executives and decision-makers who may have limited software experience Identify additional users, stakeholders, and build business cases (e.g. ROI and workflow illustrations) for further adoption Provide the highest level of support and partnership with this influential and growing client base and act as the Voice of the Customer to improve Built’s products and processes Identify and execute on growth opportunities through additional projects, regions, departments, or by increasing total payment volume (TPV) Host Quarterly or Annual Business reviews with each assigned account Manage renewals and mitigate churn Coordinate with executive management and other internal teams (client services, product, marketing, SE’s) to ensure great client experience and to continuously improve process and product Rapidly learn the market, the decision-makers, our products, and the value propositions, successfully meeting or exceeding agreed upon quotas Team: The Owner, Developer, General Contractor Sales Team is one of the most impactful and business-critical teams at Built. We are the next big endeavor and seeking to revolutionize a category still largely unsupported by technology. This is the opportunity to join the foundational team charting the path for this product line at Built. Challenge: There is a multi-trillion dollar addressable market of Owners, Developers, and Builders still running business operations on pen, paper, and Excel. This is an ecosystem of sophisticated dealmakers, and requires executive-level presence. For the right person, the opportunity is limitless.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience managing clients in a SaaS environment using a consultative approach
  • Experience managing complex organizational structures using FinTech or PropTech services
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience regarding back-office operations
  • Proven record of exceeding revenue and growth targets
  • Superb interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Unquestionable integrity, work ethic, and sense of ownership
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-growth environment
  • Willingness to travel

Nice To Haves

  • Direct sales experience into new logos in addition to Account Management experience
  • Experience managing and growing accounts in an early growth-stage product line
  • Understanding of and/or experience with finance or construction industries
