About The Position

The Account Manager role is designed to be a one-stop-shop to ensure order fulfillment, prompt and professional communication, along with accuracy in orders and invoicing, as well as problem-solving as issues arise for our customers. Will require occasional work from home and after regular business hours to handle issues as they arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 2+ years of Customer-Facing experience
  • Microsoft office
  • Proficient in excel and outlook
  • 3PL experience is a plus
  • Fluent reading and writing English required
  • Hazmat shipper certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ownership for multiple customers both within and external to the facility in handling orders from receipt to billing/invoicing and all points in between.
  • Daily communication with customers via email, phone, or in person
  • Ensures data accuracy for order information in 3PL
  • Coordinates communication between Operations and customer for orders, issues, and changes.
  • Coordination with Sales, Facility Management, and Operations Supervisor to ensure successful launch and successful structure for efficient service.
  • Customer reporting of KPIs, both internal and external for customer performance
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Addressing issues in professional and courteous manner, both internal and external
  • Additional duties as assigned
