Requirements

  • Sales and/or Customer Service experience in a professional work environment strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of work experience strongly preferred
  • A history of successful experience matching and meeting business goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
  • Proactive in problem solving
  • Dedicated to customer service
  • Able to learn computer functions
  • Pride in getting work done accurately and timely
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Providing need-based customer reviews focused on educating and advising customers about their insurance options
  • Serving as the primary contact for customers to answer questions, adjust policies, add new policies, and make policy changes to accommodate individual customer needs
  • Working with a team of highly trained insurance representatives to build leads and seek potential marketing opportunities
  • Providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Maintaining a strong work ethic to reach daily, weekly, and monthly sales and activity goals that align with the overall company objectives.
  • Working well in both an individually motivated and team oriented work environment
  • Provide timely and thorough activity reports to agent
  • Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
