About The Position

The Account Manager is a core member of Faircom’s Client Services team, responsible for managing day-to-day client relationships and ensuring successful execution of integrated fundraising and marketing campaigns. This role combines hands-on project management with strategic thinking, helping clients achieve their goals while strengthening Faircom’s growth. In this position, you will manage multiple client accounts, guide campaigns from planning to delivery, and collaborate closely with creative, production, and data teams. You will also contribute ideas and insights that improve campaign performance, support client satisfaction, and open opportunities for account growth. As part of the team, you will help mentor junior staff, foster collaboration, and model Faircom’s values of transparency, adaptability, and partnership in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and efficient support to Account Directors, Vice Presidents, and the President.
  • Support Account Directors with the day-to-day operations of assigned accounts.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of year-long direct marketing fundraising campaigns, including mail, email, social media, and other channels.
  • Enter and update client jobs in the agency database.
  • Assist with preparing and delivering weekly client status updates.
  • Monitor client deliverables and proactively keep projects on schedule.
  • Help develop and maintain detailed production schedules for clients.
  • Guide copywriting, design, and production management for client projects, including copyediting, proofreading, and creative input.
  • Proofread client art and review client data for accuracy.
  • Gather information, coordinate with internal teams, and help prepare client reports.
  • Collaborate with creative, production, and data teams to traffic work and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Serve as a key point of contact with clients to ensure objectives and requirements are met.
  • Contribute to the development of client strategies that align with fundraising and engagement goals.
  • Analyze campaign performance and prepare data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication, transparency, and reliable delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through new services, channels, or testing.
  • Stay up to date on nonprofit fundraising and digital marketing trends, bringing fresh ideas to client campaigns.
  • Mentor and support junior staff as needed, providing coaching and feedback on client work.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to ensure project progress while supporting staff growth.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within account teams.
  • Represent client perspectives internally while ensuring agency processes and standards are upheld.
  • Anticipate challenges in projects and address them constructively with clients and colleagues.
  • Model Veradata’s values of teamwork, adaptability, and accountability in all client and team interactions.
  • Contribute to agency-wide initiatives and process improvements.
