Position LANXESS as a Strategic Partner, Not a Transactional SupplierCollaborate with internal technical, innovation, and supply chain teams to deliver differentiated solutions that address customer needs and clearly distinguish LANXESS from competitors. Attend and Leverage Industry Trade Shows and ConferencesRepresent the company at relevant trade shows and industry events to strengthen existing relationships, identify new prospects, and stay informed on market trends and competitive dynamics. Drive Market Intelligence and Opportunity DevelopmentMonitor market trends, customer developments, and competitive activity, translating insights into actionable sales strategies and growth initiatives for the PLA business. Deliver Results Against Revenue, Margin, and Growth ObjectivesOwn sales performance within assigned territory or accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue, margin, and strategic growth targets while maintaining disciplined pipeline management. Experience / Skills Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; BS in a technical discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Engineering) strongly preferred. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience. Skill / Competency: Organization, Priority Setting & Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and objectives simultaneously. Proven track record of setting priorities effectively and aligning activities with sales management objectives. Drives Results: Consistently achieves results, even in challenging situations. Demonstrates energy, persistence, and a strong sense of ownership. Maintains focus on outcomes, meets deadlines, and applies extra effort when required. Critical to retaining existing business and winning new business for LANXESS. Negotiation: Effectively negotiates with internal and external stakeholders.
