About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced Sales & Account Manager to grow and strengthen partnerships within the Life Sciences industry. In this role, you’ll manage key accounts, uncover new opportunities, and deliver innovative solutions from Emerson’s world-class automation portfolio and related technologies. You’ll help clients leverage advancements in process control, AI, machine learning, IIoT, and digital transformation—driving efficiency, compliance, and innovation across their operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years working with automation and controls systems in life sciences manufacturing.
  • Industry Expertise: Proven background in marketing industrial hardware, software, and services for life sciences.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with process control technologies such as: Emerson DeltaV DCS or MES Rockwell PLCs Allen Bradley PLCs Siemens PLCs AspenTech PLCs, Analytics, AI/ML, Data Lakes, Operational Intelligence Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, Industry 5.0, IIoT
  • Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills for technical audiences.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.

  • Operational Insight: Prior operations or engineering experience in life sciences manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Account Growth: Expand business within assigned accounts by promoting life sciences manufacturing IT and automation services.
  • Opportunity Identification: Track CapEx and OpEx spending to uncover new life sciences manufacturing projects and initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop life sciences manufacturing account plans and sales strategies aligned with customer success factors.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to identify and pursue life sciences manufacturing opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Sales Performance: Maintain accurate forecasts and consistently achieve quarterly and annual targets.
  • Client Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain high standards of interaction.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong industry connections to expand your territory and influence.
