Essential Functions Account Managers manage potential and current clients, ensuring their needs are addressed in a very timely and accurate manner. This will range from packaged licensing and services to custom projects with detailed statements of work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Systems, or related field preferred
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Ability to work independently and a strong desire for personal and professional development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • All candidates MUST BE a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass an extensive background check. Proof of citizenship and eligibility to work must be provided immediately upon hire. Failure to provide required documents will be cause for termination of employment until such time that the documents are provided.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years technical IT and/or IT-related sales experience highly desired
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure based solutions and partner product lines
  • Basic understanding of client CMMC compliance requirements (NIST SP.800-171, NIST SP.800-53 and other security frameworks)
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Occasional travel, up to 15%

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed an aggressive sales quota for software, projects, and services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Work closely and directly with clients to identify business needs, desires, and requirements
  • Educate customers, providing solutions to enhance their capabilities while meeting compliance requirements
  • Provides written proposals and statements of work to meet the needs in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for updating all customer information and opportunities in a CRM solution and utilizing identified sales processes and procedures
  • Responsible for responding to and following up on sales inquiries in a prompt, professional manner
  • Supports sales leadership ensuring client information and opportunities are up-to-date and accurate
  • Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to sales leadership
  • Other duties as assigned
