About The Position

Plans and implements sales to specific (major) accounts of high strategic importance, secures the sales plan realization through acquiring and retaining (new/potential) accounts where identifying opportunities and account management skills are critical, in order to realize commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes, builds and maintains strong client relationships with major accounts and meets personal sales targets.
  • Participates with other key account managers and sales management to develop sales strategies for national/global accounts and helps identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the organization-wide strategy.
  • Monitors competitive activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated.
  • Develops new relationships and detects and realizes new business opportunities in cooperation with other functional disciplines.
  • Acts as SPOC to clients, provides insights at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on reporting guidelines.
  • Is responsible for own product or account portfolio encompassing strategic products/lines/markets
  • Focuses on complex and tactical accounts
  • Works under general guidance, in accordance with general practices, policies and procedures. Results are regularly supervised. Attunes with manager when needed
