Together, we are building a sustainable future for local news. KTVB 7, TEGNA’s NBC Affiliate in Boise, ID, is seeking an Account Manager to join our dynamic forward-thinking sales team. We’re looking for a driven, self-motivated candidate to book orders and track/execute complex day-to-day booking details of accounts while maintaining good communication with sales team members, clients, and strategic partners resulting in campaign performance delivery. This is a Sales support role and reports to the Local Sales Manager!

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of account engagement in a professional, fast paced sales environment preferred.
  • Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effective as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiar with broadcast and/or digital adverting solutions/metrics a plus
  • Multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficient with WO Traffic and/or other broadcast/digital order systems
  • Proven track record of exceeding expectations

  • Familiar with broadcast and/or digital adverting solutions/metrics a plus

Responsibilities

  • Digital and/or broadcast order entry with high level of accuracy; attention to detail is a must.
  • Request, update and monitor digital/broadcast creative scheduling.
  • Participate in campaign execution and creative asset tracking for all advertising
  • Manage the startup process for digital/broadcast campaigns with an active role on-boarding calls as needed
  • Monitor campaigns to ensure campaign delivery.
  • Attends Sales meetings and training to obtain sales, product, and process information.
  • Manage and communicate campaign/order issues to management and team
  • Work as a liaison with 3rd party vendors/traffic team.
  • Other duties as assigned by sales managers
