About The Position
United Pet Care is a rapidly growing leader in the pet healthcare industry. We are a pet insurance alternative with no exclusions, pre-existing conditions, age/breed restrictions, waiting periods, claim forms or denials. We connect thousands of veterinary practices with pet parents from employer groups via a voluntary benefit offering. UPC has been in business for over 20 years. We were recently acquired and our new CEO is focused on growth and modernization of our technologies! If you are looking for a small company with a start-up feel that will allow you to grow in your career – look no further! We’re on the hunt for an Account Manager extraordinaire! You'll be at the forefront of fostering meaningful relationships with our employer group clients, keeping those client relationships purring along smoothly. Everything from providing day-to-day support to your book of business which often includes cross collaborating with other departments, to mingling at both virtual and in-person client events, and onboarding new clients. You’ll be responsible for both the retention and driving growth of your assigned book of business, strategizing with both our HR and Broker partners to increase engagement. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a strategic thinker, detail-oriented, and love building long-lasting connections. This hybrid role is based out of our sunny Tempe, AZ office, with the opportunity to work remotely up to two days a week after your 90-day training. Occasional travel is required.
