Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field such as Business, Marketing, Advertising or related area
  • 3+ years’ related experience in program operation, sales, marketing, partnership negotiating, and contracting
  • DMC experience is a significant plus and strongly encouraged
  • High-level experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Software
  • Demonstrated ability in developing strategies for effective program operations
  • Creativity and strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interface effectively with personnel to ensure implementation of cost-effective programs
  • Analytical ability to monitor profitability and cost effectiveness during program operation
  • Ability to determine best course of action and best practices to produce and upsell programs
  • Provide appropriate and effective guidance for team members
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel monthly throughout the calendar year (Domestic Travel)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage assigned programs by implementing a strategy and plan for each program and vendor partner
  • Act as the main point of contact for the account post turnover meeting
  • Communicate with all clients, staff, vendors, and involved parties to ensure overall account/client and program satisfaction
  • Deliver operational programs at the highest level of service and creativity
  • Contract vendors and staffing; provide oversight to ensure satisfactory performance
  • Maintain control of programming budgets to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Ensure appropriate insurance, permits, and certificates are in place
  • Collect deposits, reconcile add-ons and prepare and issue final billing to client
  • Maintain understanding of the program budget, expenses, and profitability at all times
  • Manage transportation logistics for individual and group arrivals and departures
  • Understand and manage décor elements for events
  • Coordinate activities and teambuilding logistics
  • Oversee dine around logistics and coordination
  • Manage audio, video, lighting, and staging elements
  • Handle onsite production and entertainment
  • Provide amenity, gifting, and event registration services
  • Complete sales and contract process as needed
  • Develop and manage executive level relationships with clients, accounts, and partners
  • Participate in creative planning sessions with Sales personnel, Design & Development, and other staff members
  • Participate in on-site inspections with Account Executive and clients
  • Provide proposal revisions by working with Design & Development and Account Executive as needed
  • Communicate regularly with client and Account Executive to assist with program progress and build rapport
  • Attend events and venues to increase knowledge base to support DCi programs
  • Build vendor relationships with hotels, catering companies, entertainers, venues, transportation companies, and other industry contacts
