About The Position

Due to growth and customer demand, CommScope is looking to add an Account Manager to our Building Connectivity Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be based in Austin, TX. As the global market leader in our low-voltage/telecommunications infrastructure space, CommScope is looking for an upbeat Account Manager to join a very successful and results-oriented team. This role is predominately customer-facing and has the responsibility of positioning and selling a portfolio of premium low-voltage infrastructure copper/fiber solutions, in addition to In-Building Wireless and Distributed Antenna Systems at the End User decision-maker level. Here, you will provide outstanding customer service by understanding the customer and specific business units and delivering products, services, and solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations. Requirements

  • 5 or more years of account management sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Experience in the Optical, telecom industry or data center industry.
  • Ability to strategically run large enterprise accounts and grow the territory.
  • Expert ability to establish and cultivate positive relationships with existing customers and grow existing revenue streams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the Austin and Texas panhandle market for tradeshows, customer meetings, industry events, etc.
