MarketStar is seeking an Account Manager to join us in our Ogden, UT location representing Reddit. Reddit is one of the hottest social media names on the market, and you will be part of the rocket ship that created the 'Reddit Effect'! Account Managers are responsible for working with existing advertisers and ensuring the success of those ad campaigns. They draw daily on both their skills in managing client relationships and utilizing the data provided to make strategic and thoughtful decisions. The right candidate will be instrumental in providing value both to Reddit and to the advertisers they support.

  • Lead a customer outreach process that will include calls and emails with the intent of building and managing external customer relationships with continued account support
  • Work with existing customers to build brand awareness and increase their usage and advertising spend on Reddit
  • Use client provided and self-guided training resources to stay up to date on knowledge of the product
  • Use data to manage, review and report on pipeline to manager each week, which includes a forecast and plan to achieve targets
  • Attain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets
  • Record customer interactions and engagement in CRM
  • Build and manage both Internal MarketStar team and external client counterpart relationships
  • Prepare and run regularly scheduled performance reviews monthly/quarterly/yearly with internal MarketStar peers and leadership
  • Internally and externally provide customer sentiment insights including product feedback, key industry learnings, etc.
  • Strong time and project management organizational skills
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Experience with setting and exceeding sales goals
  • Able to multi-task, manage time effectively and adapt to change
  • Able to analyze and interpret data to develop and implement strategic plans is preferred
  • Previous experience with account management or prior experience in sales or technology preferred
