About The Position

An Account Manager in the Lockton Cyber and Technology Practice provides the highest level of customer service in supporting and coordinating complex Cyber Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions, and various other insurance placements for Enterprise organizations across industry classes. They champion client service engagements, support data driven risk modeling, and deliver custom solution design through a wide range of insurance and technology products alongside Account Executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, Economics or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
  • Typically, two or more years of direct corporate client facing experience is required
  • Strong attention to detail, plus organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with Clients, project team members, and associates at all levels of responsibility, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner
  • Readiness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the insurance industry by successful completion of extended education beyond continuing education requirements
  • Understands financial and technology industry trends and governmental regulations
  • Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night, as needed
  • Legally able to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Services designated book of business as it relates to building insurance programs, executing consultative engagements, and performing general client administration
  • Gathers and ensures accuracy of Client operational exposure information including reviewing financial statements & quarterly/annual reports, cyber security controls, policies, and procedures as well as contractual requirements and loss run schedules
  • Supports placement of new lines of coverage by initiating internal tooling processes, collecting and organizing documentation, and owning deliverable execution
  • Generates materials for Client presentations and meetings at direction of Account Executives
  • Updates specifications, summary information, and other client deliverables to reflect program changes
  • Responds to Client inquiries and maintains documentation of communications
  • Processes Client audits and creates audit analyses
  • Informs Client of all changes that may affect insurance premiums or coverage
  • Creates and sends compliance communications as needed
  • Engages with Producer and Accounting Department to execute collection efforts or triage billing discrepancies
  • Upholds insurance documentation standards by auditing quotes, binders, endorsements, and completing policy checks
  • Solicits, monitors receipt, and requests changes of quotes while facilitating carrier negotiations with Account Executives
  • Binds coverage under direction of the Unit Manager/Account Executives
  • Engages with Cybersecurity vendors to tailor custom solutions for Clients with Account Executive guidance
  • Gathers and compiles information for new business opportunities and renewal book management
  • Inputs client information into the data management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Participates in ongoing team calls for book maintenance, client engagement tracking, and other administrative requirements
