About The Position

We’re a full-service independent insurance agency seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented professional to support our Insurance Producers in the sales and service of Personal Lines accounts. In this role, you’ll build a deep understanding of each client’s coverage needs, along with carrier rating programs and underwriting guidelines, allowing you to deliver tailored insurance solutions. You’ll play a key role in marketing and placing both new and renewal business while providing prompt, accurate, and high-quality service that strengthens client relationships. This is a hybrid position offering a flexible blend of in-office collaboration and remote work.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Minimum of 2 years of insurance industry experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Experience with Applied Epic required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to take initiative and contribute to process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of Personal Lines accounts, including new business setup, renewals, and ongoing service
  • Coordinate renewal processes and collaborate with producers on strategy and client meetings
  • Communicate with clients through calls, emails, and written correspondence to ensure excellent service
  • Oversee billing and collections in partnership with producers
  • Prepare submissions for marketing and assist with placing coverage
  • Handle policy changes, endorsements, and premium-bearing transactions with carriers and clients
  • Manage policy binding for renewals (when not assigned to a centralized marketing team)
  • Address non-renewals and provide guidance to clients and producers
  • Support premium audits and communicate large audit changes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and file organization within Applied Epic
  • Review policy checklists and coordinate updates with internal support teams
  • Collect required documentation (LPRs) from clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and client needs
