Our Personal Lines Team is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Lowell, MA! Our Account Manager will work closely with our Account Executives to build an exciting career while helping our clients prepare for the unexpected. Accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients by assisting with the overall workflow processes and providing routine client support. Contributes to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing AJG's value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating/margin targets and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 0+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
  • Producer's License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Appropriate licensing as required.

Responsibilities

  • Adhering to efficiency/productivity and process standards such as data and documents requirements, timelines, tool usage, etc.
  • Support clients in creating correspondence to carriers and clients, including transmission of final audits, policy binders, renewals, and other written communications, as well as provide administrative support when needed.
  • Help to manage accounts by entering client information into agency management system, auditing client data, processing change requests, preparing notices of cancellations & reinstatements, and various other administrative tasks
  • Secures documentation needed to be retained by the agency including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage and confirmation of orders.
  • Leverages technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; Reviews quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.
  • Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.
  • Actively engage in learning by studying insurance industry trends and seeking out self-directed learning to increase insurance knowledge.
  • Maintain carrier updates and bulletins.
  • Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures. Follows company procedures to achieve positive audit results.
  • Other duties as assigned.
