About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Director, Partnership Services and the Senior Manager, Partnership Services, the Account Manager, Partnership Services works in tandem with a team of Corporate Sales Account Executives and focuses on executing all aspects of client contracts within the team group and its specific network of clients. This position is benefit-eligible including: medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K eligibility; employee contributions after 3 months, employer matching and safe harbor after 1 year and 1000 hours of employment. Additional perks include paid holidays, sick days, vacation accrual (2 weeks’ vacation), and tickets to games. The expected hourly rate of pay is $27.88. The selected candidate is also eligible for a Service Incentive Plan based on book of business managed ranging from $0 to $10,000+ in a 12-month period.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 2+ years experience supporting a Corporate Sales and Service department preferred
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Must have a high level of professionalism, good communication skills, the ability to relate to clients and the desire to provide excellent guest service
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Strong MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Ability to frequently sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to occasionally work in inclement weather (when in stadium or when visiting clients)
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with select partners and manage overall deal fulfillment from inception to completion per contract year, including signage, branding, special events, in-game assets, hospitality, experiences, activations and promotions.
  • Exercise independent judgement to develop specific partnership service plans for each assigned account from planning stages through the fulfillment of the contract.
  • Manage inventory for corporate partners and their assets within their agreement and other areas for the department as needed.
  • Lead and execute both gameday and non-gameday events and activations. Activations to take place in-market, in-stadium Host and support partners at games
  • Handles all aspects of contract fulfillment, while working closely together with all department staff (including the Executive Vice President, the Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, and Account Executives). This includes:
  • Exercise independent judgment to manage the budget of hard cost and all financials associated with each sponsorship account in assigned book of business
  • Handling all ticket financials and requests to and from clients and guests of clients as needed throughout each calendar year
  • Executing on-field activities which include the set-up, organization and communication of client requests to appropriate ballpark and front office staff executives
  • Coordinating the order of and facilitating the distribution of all merchandise
  • Executing all parties, events and food and beverage requests made by clients. This includes site inspection and meet-and-greet with sales staff when necessary to ensure client satisfaction
  • Attending assigned events and off-field activities tied to sponsorship business and or clients directly
  • Works in conjunction with the Sales staff to create, brainstorm assets based on budgets and build presentations for new business and renewals; and items related to the execution of the sales process to ensure items are consistent with department standards and expectations.
  • Writes, organizes, assembles and manages all aspects of Season Wrap Up books for clients in their designated work group.
  • Responsible for presenting on the fulfillment of the assets to client and executives in season-end meetings
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of wrap-up meetings, including all details such as location, food & beverage and all aspects of the presentation
  • Collaborate with all internal departments to fulfill all partner obligations, maximize opportunities, and ideate on new platforms (including senior level executives), including Marketing, Special Events, Community Relations, Media Relations, Entertainment, Ballpark Operations, Facilities, Ticketing, and Accounting.
  • Manage and maintain all client files as they relate to creative, artwork, financials, hospitality using independent judgment
  • Manage the administrative department needs by creating all support needed to fulfill department tickets, hospitality and giveaways.
  • Manage spec sheet creation annually to be used by Service team and update during the year as needed.

  • Service Team liaison with MLBAM
