About The Position

The Account Manager – Oil & Gas position will be responsible for identifying and driving new business within the oil & gas market to achieve both sales and profitability budget while increasing Fujifilm’s market share for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) products and services. These objectives should be attained through diligent individual efforts and working closely with established and potential customers, Fujifilm distributor network and other NDT account managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical field or accredited NDT certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience related to NDT within the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Understanding and network within the NDT oil & gas testing and inspection industry.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and winning new business.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Ability to multi-task and function well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in the business development of Fujifilm’s non-destructive testing products within the oil & gas market.
  • Initiate the sale of all NDT Products within the assigned channel through regular visits and communication with established customers, potential new customers, and the distributor network to achieve sales targets.
  • Establish a solid and trusting relationship with strategic customers, targets, distributors, and industry network.
  • Coordinate team resources to secure business and solve problems during the bidding, proposal, and negotiation process.
  • Engage in effective commercial negotiations to secure long-term business agreements.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for market share growth.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and provide support to service both the customer and distributor network.
  • Increase sales demand through effective marketing and sales programs.
  • Manage and maintain forecasting and customer purchasing schedules.
  • Initiate the use of technical staff for exposure information, problem solving, and product testing.
  • Communicate with Manager and provide statistical and technical information on market trends and competitive activity.
  • Be familiar with competitive products and offer comparisons during sales presentations.
  • Complete scheduled tasks including sales tracking, maintaining account lists, contract negotiations, and reporting.
  • Perform special projects and tasks as requested by management.
  • Attend and represent Fujifilm NDT at trade shows, sales/training seminars, and industry meetings.
  • Create and maintain good rapport with management, co-workers, and distributor network.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements and ISO 13485 standards.
