About The Position

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage key customer relationships in Northern California/Bay Area. This role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with decision-makers across various departments, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and logistical management.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of successful sales, business development, and/or marketing experience, preferably in the networking/connected devices markets.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with internal teams and customers.
  • Strong project management skills and interpersonal relationship building skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability.
  • Strong technical understanding of connectivity and networking markets or proven ability to learn and understand technical product line-ups.
  • BS or BA in marketing, business, or technical field; MBA or MSEE is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in project management within technical fields.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive relationships with decision makers in key areas such as marketing, engineering, purchasing, and operations.
  • Build a relationship map for all key customers and facilitate appropriate relationships across Qualcomm resources.
  • Manage key logistical elements related to the assigned customer base, including pipeline tracking, quoting, supply management, forecasting, financial planning, and contractual negotiations.
  • Create and deliver technical product presentations and define engagement plans for target customers.
  • Own all aspects of meeting planning, flow of the meeting, and follow-up/action items post-meeting with the customer.
  • Understand and articulate Qualcomm's overall product line-up and roadmap, particularly relative to the competition.
  • Identify new program opportunities at target customers and propose Qualcomm solutions for each.
  • Develop and present business plans that track to overall account plan and align with internal relevant BU leaders.
  • Manage active program/design engagements to ensure customer deliverables are met.
