Job Description: HPE Networking is looking for an experienced Account Manager to assist in business development and strategic selling onT-Mobile Infrastructure team. The candidate should have experience in selling infrastructure including but not limited to the following areas: routing, switching, wireless, security, virtualization, and data center use cases. The emphasis will be on expanding HPE Networking's footprint within T-Mobile by driving strategic projects, thought leadership and technology differentiation to maintain and break into new strategic franchises.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years’ experience selling into Service Providers with a winning track record of opportunities and revenue growth
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or related experience
  • Experience developing sales strategies and preparing proposals that are focused on solving our customer’s business problems
  • Experience in selling Core/Edge/Data Center/Security/Wireless solutions
  • Broad-based technological awareness in the in the networking industry, complemented by knowledge of data networking concepts
  • Must have industry knowledge of Cisco, Arista, Nokia, Palo Alto and HPE Networking portfolios
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Closer with the ability to demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy
  • Creative innovator who is a proactive team player, with a proven track record working in matrixed environments
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent relationship building and consultative skills
  • Ability to Travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Develops account plans and long-term sales pipeline to increase the company's market share.
  • Focuses on larger deals/opportunities and value and/or volume portfolio management and selling a range of company products and solutions.
  • Works with management to develop future business plans; independently determines methods for achieving plans.
  • Extensive time spent working with and leveraging a diverse set of external partners.
  • Builds strong professional relationships with key IT and business executives, including C level Executives.
  • Applies consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth for the company.
  • Maintains a high level of. and builds trust and integrity, as indicated in customer loyalty, conducted surveys and reports.
  • Develops business plan in conjunction with the customer.
  • Analyzes client industry and competitive research and information to facilitate rich client dialogue.
