About the position

This position, in the NGP Louisiana segment, is responsible for Natural Gas Revenue and P&L. This position is for the desk lead for LIG (Louisiana Intrastate Gas) pipeline and will be the main external customer face for the pipeline. This individual will need good interpersonal, analytical, oral, and written communication, and time management skills. There will be a particular focus on coachability, teamwork and customer-service centric skills. This position will manage and grow relationships internally and externally to execute strategies within the Natural Gas Pipeline (NGP) business segment.

Responsibilities

  • A successful candidate will be self-motivated and cross-collaborative with various internal groups such as legal, contracts administration, scheduling, gas control, operations, and business development.
  • Provide excellent external customer service to both marketers and end-user customers.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement process improvements to provide better service to our processes as well as our internal and external customers.
  • Handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to a changing and growing environment.
  • Be the SME for their pipeline's statement of operating conditions (SOC), tariffs, and contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent formal education in finance, accounting, engineering, business management, or job-related experience.
  • Experience with and thorough knowledge of activities related to gas supply, gas purchase, gathering systems, gas transportation, gas storage, gas accounting, and/or gas sales.
  • Experience in use and function of office equipment including microcomputers and applicable software.
  • Experience analyzing data with a strong business acumen.
  • Experience researching, analyzing, and resolving issues and/or questions concerning contracts, agreements, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience developing and preparing contracts, agreements, reports, presentations, policies, procedures, and correspondence applicable to position.
  • Ability to understand tariff and regulatory obligations as applicable to the position.
  • Ability to apply math, algebraic formulas, statistics applicable to position, and economic models.
